@JDSmith343 @giordano_lives @MrDanielBuck So exactly the same as grades, except that the failing grade is three times smaller than it used to be. Again, we don't typically give percents but rather grade levels, so there is no difference between a 32 and a 35, both of which are the same grade.

@JDSmith343 @giordano_lives @MrDanielBuck There's nothing logical or illogical about it. Same as the 4 point. There is no reason they have to be the same size other than it feels good. Notice we don't have 100 levels, but rather 5 since you only get the letter as your final typically.

@JDSmith343 @giordano_lives @MrDanielBuck A 4 point scale is the exactly as asinine as this. The only purpose of moving to such a scale is to make the failing value lower. There are literally no reasons whatsoever why having the failing grade be a larger range than the passing ones is a problem.

@tombennett71 There's nothing remarkable about what is there. Like any 'exceptional' school or choice school, this is all the result of some sort of funnel effect. You can do whatever you want when all the students come in fully cooperative.
