This had fitted wardrobes either side of their bed leaving no room for bedside tables. With nowhere to put their morning cup of coffee they asked if I could fit a recessed shelf on either side along with installing some USB sockets so they could charge their phone.

A leaky pipe had caused some damage so after capping it off I replaced the insulation & chipboard floor. I also fitted a damp proof membrane along with moisture resistant underlay to keep everything nice and dry.

A client in Maidenhead wanted to replace their broken fence with a bit of privacy screening. This extractor fan stopped working so I cleaned up the fan motor then applied silicon based lubricant to stop it sticking. After that it was as good as new #handyman #windsor

A balcony can increase the value of a property by up to 12% but on this one spindles had fallen out, others were rotten & the baserail was crumbling. The only part I was able to reuse was the handrail whilst everything was replaced. #windsor #handyman #berkshire

A client wanted to refresh a staircase but keep the newel posts. I installed lovely oak spindles, handrails & replaced the newell post caps. I also changed the wall mounted handrail with an oak pigs ear one so that everything matches #windsor #homemaintenance #handyman

I finally had some spare time so decided to replace my own tired wooden decking with eco-friendly grey composite. Now I can get rid of all the half empty tins of decking stain in the garage & don't have to worry about the kids getting splinters. #windsor #homemaintenance

A client in Windsor had noticed movement in some of their decking boards. Fortunately the majority of this was down one side so I was able to replace the rotten joists with some new treated pine giving them a lovely solid decking area. #windsor #homemaintenance #berkshire
