But after watching many fizzle out and fall away from Jesus, my ambitions have been refined.

Today I aspire to simply grow in my love for God, make it to glory, and bring as many with me as I can.

How God's love for a sinner like me seems so "reckless" as if His mercy could harm His justice!

How great is His love: while I was still a sinner He saved this foe to be a friend!

How God heals and instructs my broken conscience to rejoice more greatly at His "perfect" love!

Except in matters of God's revealed will for me: sanctification. May I always receive this as a gift.
