🚨 URGENT APPEAL: RESCUE THE TWO MISSING KUKI YOUTHS IMMEDIATELY!

The Taphou Kuki Village Authority, Kangpokpi District, strongly condemns the reported abduction of two innocent Kuki youths, Paoginlal Hangshing (20), son of Haokholet Hangshing, and Tinginlun Chongloi (20), son of Paominlal Chongloi.

According to the Village Authority’s press release dated 29 October 2026, the two youths were returning home from Hengbung Police Outpost when they were reportedly abducted by unknown miscreants in the 9th MR/Maremei area at around 5:30 PM on 28 October 2026. Their whereabouts remain unknown.

WHERE ARE THE TWO KUKI YOUTHS? WHY HAS THEIR SAFE RETURN NOT YET BEEN SECURED?

We urgently call upon the Government of India, the Manipur Government, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Manipur Police, and all concerned security agencies to take immediate and effective action. Launch a thorough search and rescue operation, establish their whereabouts, secure their safe and unconditional release, and bring those responsible to justice.

The families are living in fear and uncertainty. Every passing hour matters. The authorities must treat this case with the utmost urgency and demonstrate that the lives and safety of Kuki-Zo civilians receive equal protection under the law.

NO SILENCE. NO DELAY. NO SELECTIVE JUSTICE.
