I have concluded my campaign in the Bukedi sub-region with a rally in Busia District. I thank them for their warm welcome.

First, I want to emphasise peace. Our NRM district Chairman mentioned the people who were killed by FOBA and Lakwena; that is now history. The NRM has successfully brought peace across the entire country. This peace didn't happen by chance; it resulted from our politics, which are rooted in unity.

Regarding health: Busia District has 1 hospital, 1 Health Centre IV, and 14 Health Centre IIIs and more will be upgraded.

Moving to wealth creation (Obugaga): This topic has caused confusion for a long time. Some believe that development automatically means wealth, but that's not true. You've seen in Kampala that roads, electricity, and telephones are clearly developed, but wealth is different and must be intentionally built through commercial agriculture, industry, services and ICT.
