Today’s morning was dedicated to sediment grain sizing by #Malvern #Mastersizer3000 with @BeccaHatley while having @Dr_ACOrtiz on a Zoom call! The samples we took from #TarRiver, #MiddleCreek, & #RoanokeRiver are now analyzed & the data are ready to be integrated into our models!

So I guess the “field work” we did today was mostly getting my car unstuck from mud!

Head out to #EllerbeCreek with @BeccaHatley and Azmayeen Shahriar to retrieve our #Aquadopp #Profiler (#Nortek group #ADCP) in a nice post-storm weather! The water depth was higher than expected and... we agreed on not to wade into the river this time! Hopefully next week!
