ಐ.ಬಿ.ಪಿ.ಎಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆ.ಎ.ಎಸ್ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಒಂದೇ ದಿನ ಇದ್ದವು ಎಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮುಂದುಡೂದಿತ್ತು.

ಆದರೆ, ಈಗ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೋಕ ಸೇವಾ ಆಯೋಗದವರು ವಾರದ ದಿನ [Week Day] ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಹುತೇಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಐ.ಟಿ.ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ವಾರದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಜೆ ಪಡೆದು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆಯುವುದು ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, 2017-18ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಗೆಜೆಟೆಡ್ ಪ್ರೊಬೇಷನರಿ (ಕೆಎಎಸ್‌) ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಇವರಿಗೆ ತಯಾರಿ ನಡೆಸಲು ಕಾಲಾವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಸಮಯ ನೀಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದಿದ್ದು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆ.ಪಿ.ಎಸ್.ಸಿ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಲೋಕಸೇವಾ ಆಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೆಲ ಪಟ್ಟಭದ್ರ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಹಾಗೂ ಒತ್ತಡಕ್ಕೆ ಮಣಿದು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಆದಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪಣತೊಟ್ಟಿದಂತಿದೆ. ಈ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರಮ, ಮುತುವರ್ಜಿ ವಹಿಸಿ ಓದಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವೆಸಗಿದಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ KAS ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ಯಾವುದೇ ಇತರೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ದಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ಇರುವ ದಿನದಂದು [ KEA Group 'C', NET, IBPS Banking] ಮಾಡದೆ, ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಬೇಕು. ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇರುವ ದಿನಾಂಕದಂತೆ KAS ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸಬಾರದು.

ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಆಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಯಬೇಕಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗದಂತೆ, ಸ್ವಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಣಿದು ಅವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಿಗದಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಪುನರವಾರ್ತಾನೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದರಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಿಸ್ತು ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕವಾಗಿ, ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಿಯಾಗಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಿ.

I have requested @CMofKarnataka to postpone the KPSC prelims, which currently clash with the IBPS exams scheduled on the same day, Aug 25.

Previously, the State Government had written to the Central Government requesting a postponement of the IBPS exams, but we have yet to receive a response.
