My cat doesn't cuddle me but she walks across my keyboard and deletes half my emails. That's how I know she loves me.

Why do kids birthday parties look like an influencer’s book launch? What happened to cake, streamers, and 20 kids running around a living room breaking moms things.

Men being doing the least in their performances while not creating a human being inside them and y’all seem fine. But a pregnant women floating on a platform 60 feet in the air singing a decade worth of hits she created and you’re wondering why her body looks like that. Yeesh.

Rihanna’s show really brought out the misogyny. Reactions went from “omg is that her gut, she had enough time to get in shape” to “she still looks too big for someone in her first trimester”. Now ppl comparing Beyoncé & Rihanna’s pregnancy performances. Fr? #Rihanna #HalftimeShow

Watching a FIFA match with my dad and the man randomly tells me he lost a toenail playing football barefoot when he was a kid in Karachi. Didn't know he ever played football and didn't know he only had 9 toenails.

Truly who is this man?

Day 1 of the strike. UCLA people in solidarity. Undergrads, do not go to class. Grad students in the school of education, absolutely no crossing of the picket line. Stretch. Drink tea with honey. Sleep well. They intend to weaken us. Do not fatigue. We could be here for weeks.

I just went to a beautiful wedding and I've never felt like so skilled on a dance floor. Because truly, white people can't dance.

Accompanied a white attorney to eviction court as part of my social work internship and immediately got mistaken for the client being evicted by the white male lawyer representing the landlord...bc I'm brown. He then went on to tell us about "the lady judge". Just ugh.

[TIMES OF GAZA @Timesofgaza]

Happened in Hebron yesterday, Israeli settlers held a provocative dancing concert inside the Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in a clear violation of the sacredness of the place.

Love that I'm at an institutional training that named the Black Panthers as being pioneers in community care and it just wasn't controversial. Like this is fact, moving on.

Moving to LA in a week and never coming back just so I don't have to pack ever again.
