Today on @SiriusXMNASCAR, Dale Jr joined The Morning Drive and the question was asked is Jr Motorsports still looking to move up to the Cup Series.

“There’s zero movement on our end. We’re always looking at opportunities to move to the Cup Series and we’re interested in that but it has to make sense.”

Dale goes on to say he’s also thinking of his future and his family, personally and financially.

“Me and Kelley I think would be more interested in a partnership of some kind to get ourselves to that level and there’s opportunities there but they haven’t felt just right. Another key component is we want to manage the team out of the Jr Motorsports shop and not just slap our name on another organization. We are not willing to compromise just to be there. If we’re going Cup racing we want to manage it. Kelley has been working on it every single day for at least the last two and a half to three years.” -Dale JR.
