In the late seventies I crossed the Atlantic on the QE2. I went First Class, which I paid for with my first real paycheck. We had a mandatory dress code for dinner. Black Tie and commensurate formal wear for the ladies. It was one of my favorite memories.
@RealJamesWoods I've been on several cruises. Even in 10 years it is getting worse. I felt overdressed in the fine dining when I wore a sportscoat and tie.
The guy at the table next to us wore a Lakers ball cap and jersey. He took his shoes off while he ate dinner.
Sad.
@charleslaughlin@pensandpoison Sounds like students 20 years ago were capable of this.
Students now are far dumber than they used to be.
Shitty public schools are turning us into Idiocracy.
