Yesterday our cricket team took part in the Tameside heats and played amazingly winning both games and qualifying for the finals in a few weeks. It was a great event and a wonderful atmosphere, well done everyone ๐๐@tamesidessp@DynamosCricket
Year 6 have had a brilliant day celebrating the end of SATs. We had the morning had Stamford Park and then had our pizza party in class. We finished the day by playing with our buddies in reception. Thank you to all of our amazing parents once again for your support! ๐๐๐
Yesterday the children from St Josephโs brought the Anchor of Hope to our school. This anchor will be visiting all the schools in Salford Diocese to celebrate The Jubilee Year โ๏ธ๐

We would like to announce our new Head Boy and Head Girl! They were brilliant in their interviews and we are certain they will serve our school well. A massive well done to all the Year 6 applicants also as it was a very difficult decision to make. Well done! ๐๐
We have come together as a school today to support the campaign #RedWednesday. The GIFT Team led a beautiful whole school worship to raise awareness for Christians who are persecuted for following their faith. โค๏ธ
Yesterday the Tameside Catholic schools tag rugby competition took place. 11 schools took part and displayed some superb rugby. After winning all group games we qualified for the final running out winners in extra time. Well done team weโre so proud of the work you put in ๐๐
This morning Year 5 & 6 have had their final writing session with @literacykicks. The children discussed whether winning in sport is what truly matter. We then wrote an opinion piece focusing on the issue. The students had some wonderful insights and wrote brilliantly. โ๏ธ๐๐
To celebrate Our Ladyโs birthday, Year 3 learnt all about Our Lady of Lourdes, who is our class patron feast . As a class, we went into the chapel to pray in celebration of her birthday.
