When India accidentally wiped out its vultures, half a million people died in five years.

The bird doing zoomies in this video runs the most extreme digestive system in the animal kingdom. Vulture stomach acid sits near pH 1, strong enough to destroy anthrax, rabies, and botulism in the carcasses they eat. A flock strips a cow to bone in about 45 minutes.

India had 50 million of them. Free sanitation at national scale, in a country where religious custom means most cattle die natural deaths and every dead cow becomes a carcass someone has to deal with.

Then the patent on diclofenac expired in 1994. Farmers started using the cheap painkiller on livestock. Trace amounts left in a carcass cause kidney failure in vultures. Within a decade, 50 million birds fell to a few thousand. The fastest collapse of any bird species since the passenger pigeon.

The carcasses didn't disappear. Feral dogs took the vultures' place and brought rabies with them. Rotting remains leached into waterways. In districts where vultures once thrived, human death rates rose more than 4 percent. Economists at Chicago and Warwick put the toll at 100,000 extra deaths a year and $69 billion in annual damages.

So yes, the goofy bird sprinting down the walkway is adorable. It's also a disease firewall that evolution spent millions of years building and one generic painkiller nearly erased in ten.

A GROUNDBREAKING study found a SINGLE dose of a newly discovered frog gut bacterium CURED colon cancer in 100% of treated mice.

The Ewingella americana bacterium traveled STRAIGHT to the tumors and COMPLETELY ERADICATED them with NO detectable toxicity.

ANDY WAKEFIELD: "I was young and naive, I was a surgeon, surgeons think in a particular way which isn't necessarily with the use of their brains most of the time. I just thought the government will find this interesting, this possible link, it would help explain why there's this dramatic upsurge in autism. And if it is the vaccine and something related to age of exposure we could delay it or break them up into single vaccines. I didn't see this issue with the single measles, mumps and rubella, it was when they were combined into one vaccine. And I did the research, I thought if I'm going to get involved in this fight I need to have done the research, I need to understand what's happened. So I read every single paper on safety and efficacy of measles, measles containing vaccines, including single measles, measles, rubella vaccine, different countries, different brands, and I couldn't find the safety studies, the appropriate adequate safety studies."

MARY BOWDEN: "What prompted you to go down this road to begin with?"

ANDY WAKEFIELD: "Mothers calling me and saying my child was fine, he was developing perfectly normal, he had speech and language, interaction with his siblings, and then he lost it. He had an MMR vaccine which just went downhill from that point and was never the same again. Eventually he was diagnosed with autism, and I said stop, you must have got the wrong number, I know nothing about autism, zero, we weren't taught about it at medical school, it was so rare. And so they said no, the reason we're calling you Dr Wakefield is my child has terrible gastrointestinal problems and I believe they're related to their autism. And then I was presented with two conflicting sets of ideas, one from the experts, God save us from experts, Covid has taught us that, and the mothers. Who do you trust?"

Dr. Adam Niezgoda was a celebrated neurologist on track to lead his university in Poland until he started speaking publicly about what he was seeing in his patients. His career changed overnight.

As a neurologist, he began noticing early in his practice a link between hyperimmunization, hyperactivation of the immune system, and chronic nervous system disease, including multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and other polyneuropathies, he says, have been swept under the carpet.

After the mass COVID vaccination campaign, he observed a dramatic spike in autism diagnoses, including in adults, a population not typically associated with the condition.
