So thrilled for an opportunity to work with this amazing team on organising the Inequalities and Health Summit! What an amazing day and such a rewarding experience! Thanks to everyone who attended and helped us out!
Social justice requires that we take the action necessary to deal with racism. It is a profound injustice if the conditions for good health are unequally distributed, depending on ethnicity. Especially so, where that unequal distribution results from the evils of racism.
Proud to be part of the organising committee for this event. Health & Inequalities Summit, 29th Oct in Liverpool. We have great speakers and exciting workshops. Registration is open. Tickets are good value, more info here:

@SageCriminology our special issue ‘Hidden Hate, Hidden Violence’ has been published by the Journal of Interpersonal Violence. Thank you to my amazing co-editor @NeilChakraborti and all of our brilliant contributors who have offered insight and provocations for hate studies
@IvoGraham I was the other, unpicked LCD Soundsystem volunteer at your last show on Sunday. So I didn't get to tell you that my wife actually proposed to me with Dance Yrself Clean (my fave song on world) & I saw them live on Friday! Excellent end to fabulous show. Thank you
See our Guardian article about the The Equality Trust's publication of the updated data 15 years after The Spirit Level came out. The evidence of the damage inequality does is as clear as ever.
