What a whirlwind five weeks! Explored a large part of (South) Western Australia with Adam, presented my first poster at @ComBio2022 which was supported by an @asps_ozplants travel grant and finished with a fruit DNA extraction workshop at the @WOSQld Mt Isa regional conference!
Thank you to the 12 YSAs who travelled to Mount Isa to judge and run workshops. Here are just some of them hanging out with #megalania at #OutbackatIsa
Had a great experience at the Metropolitan Science Group Colloquium talking about my research with different tables of QLD science educators!
@UQscience
All thanks to
@WOSQld
and the fellow science ambassadors. 🔬🧬
In this @NaturePlants paper led by Chin Wong, we prove unsaturation in the air inside leaves conclusively and indicate a novel mechanism to control transpiration involving deeper biology.
