DYK the award ceremony podiums at the @Tokyo2020#Olympics are, for the first time ever, made from #recycled plastic? To collect the plastic, collection boxes were placed throughout Japan for people to put their plastic packaging waste into. A win to take into future games 🙌
Massive congrats to all of the @TeamGB winners so far at @Tokyo2020 - the golds are rolling in today! 🏅 Did you know all of the medals at this year's Olympics are made from #recycled metals (extracted from electronic devices contributed by people from all over Japan!)?
Feels like a good time to talk about the Waste Hierarchy - first, try to prevent anything being "waste" (reduce); if you can't, find a way to reuse those materials; if not possible, recycle; and, if the materials are non-recyclable, send for recovery. Don't opt for landfill ♻️

This week is #NationalGardeningWeek, celebrating the feel-good power of plants and gardens. There are so many ways you can get your dose of vitamin G (green!), like creating a bug hotel as our sales team did for @gloshospitals recently! How are you getting your vitamin G? 🌿
