Ames swim coach Dan Flannery died Tuesday at age 44 from a brain aneurysm. It's not the championships people will remember, it's his actions. Mike Wittmer, the previous @ACSD_News swim coach, recalls what Flannery did for him at the 2018 trophy celebration. This breaks my heart.
@zbeck11@scottrwetherbee I'm confused why the fairly new "President" gave this for a reason... (yellow)when in the past the board made this statement... (red)
Illinois State women's swimming & diving wanted to show support for the Eastern Michigan swimming & diving team. We support @savEMUswim_dive #SaveEMUSwim
To lose any swim/dive program is a shame. To lose one as successful as EMU is a tragedy. If you can give every little bit helps #savEMUSwimandDive https://t.co/DZ5aKfLUoQ
Watching a team get cut is never easy.
Watching a team get cut after 34 MAC titles is absolute garbage.
Give a dollar.
Give it a retweet.
Whatever you can.

Hello friends! If any of you would like to help spread the word to save our men’s program please take a group picture holding a sign that looks like this and send it to me! No matter what sports team, school group, or anything we would love the support! #SaveEMUSwim
I am without words. The love and support friends, family, and fellow swimmers have shown our men’s team is overwhelming. Our team is a family, it always has been and always will be, and we are willing to fight for our guys. Thank you all so much and please keep spreading the word
