Saw this on FB and had to share. 2A all the way.

Today I swung my front door wide open and placed my Remington 30.06 on the deck rail. I left six cartridges beside it, then left it alone and went about my business.

While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, my neighbor across the street mowed his lawn, a girl walked her dog down the street, and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign near the front of my house.

After about an hour, I checked on the gun. It was still sitting there, right where I had left it. It hadn't moved itself off the deck rail. It hadn't killed anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had presented to do so.

In fact, it hadn't even loaded itself. You can imagine my surprise, with all the hype by the Left and the Media about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people.

Either the media is wrong or I'm in possession of the laziest gun in the world.

The United States is third in murders throughout the World. But if you take out just four cities: Chicago , Detroit , Washington DC and New Orleans , the United States is fourth from the bottom, in the entire world, for murders.

These four Cities also have the toughest Gun Control Laws in the U.S. All four of these cities are CONTROLLED BY DEMOCRATS. It would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data - correct?

Well, I'm off to check on my spoons. I hear they're making people fat .

Oh look. Our Canadian Climate Institute which is based out of a home in Bobcaygeon and runs an empty office in Toronto that receives generous funds from taxpayers suddenly does charity work.

Miraculously, the CRA filings which showed zero charitable expenses now show $5,876,264.

Inflation going down doesn't mean prices are going down.

It means the speed at which prices are increasing is decreasing.

I thought everyone knew this but nah... Prices are going up forever as long as you're running off a fiat currency system.

It took me a long time to learn that not everybody is capable of nuance.

I used to think some people were being intentionally obtuse or playing dumb, but there are really people out there who think in black and white. No gradients or other colours.

Race based sentencing (which I've written about) takes a bizarre turn where immigration status and fear of deportation are factors some judges have been considering in giving a lighter sentence than they would to a Canadian citizen.

This is absolutely insane and these decisions by woke judges will of course fuel a backlash. Immigrants who commit major crimes should be deported. In recent years under Trudeau's reckless immigration policy, Canada has been attracting the worst quality of immigrants whether it's India, China or Latin America. Of that there's no question.
