Strengthening Market Relationships for Kenya’s Smallholder Tea Farmers
KTDA leaders, led by Chairman Enos Njeru and Group CEO Eng. Francis Miano, today held discussions with Salim Amanullah and Saad Salim of Vital Tea, one of Pakistan’s leading tea packers, on the sidelines of the 7th African Tea Conference and Exhibition.
Engagements with key buyers such as Vital Tea are important in strengthening relationships with tea-consuming markets and exploring opportunities to increase demand for Kenyan tea. Strong buyer relationships contribute to a more resilient market for the quality tea produced by more than 650,000 smallholder tea farmers across Kenya.
