Hello! I'm just a guy that surfs the web, which also a tech savvy.
Amateur dev • YT-er (kinda) • Alt: @Tweets5958 • Also on mastodon ◦ social

The website (and blog) rewrite is done! All is done with Tailwind CSS and Astro (2!).

@ArulRanger Woke mas

[Hans5958 @Hans5958]

Income is stable enough to commit to a domain. Still cheap enough to wait for the promotion, though.

Stuff will be moved gradually. I will (try to) update on this occasionally on this thread.

@ArulRanger No template. I made it myself, and you can see the source code on my repository.

[Hans5958 @Hans5958]

I saw tons of vertical short videos, yet I didn't remember to tweet it here.

It partly because of me being employed. Is this a blessing or a curse?

Say, do you remember?

[Vix @VixWizzer]

just saw this on reddit

[Hans5958 @Hans5958]

For the note, I'm not going to put it on my lamentations currently. I haven't got around to discuss the TV Time replacement as an alternative, lighter interface.

[Hans5958 @Hans5958]

Note to self (and everyone): The "Watched" button on tvtime[.]trakt[.]tv removes ALL your prior watches.

I'm stupid enough to not considered that they haven't implemented some kind of dialog or options there, and I just lost my rewatches of Parallel World Pharmacy.

[Hans5958 @Hans5958]

I just estimated I watched twice before. Who knows how many I watched before...

I probably going to create alternatives on Google Forms and those Q&A apps. Heck, maybe my own Discord webhook setup, I dunno.

In case people don't know what "Paket Phoenix" is:

(Yes, it's still alive... but again, better than Tung Tung Tung Sahur)

[Hans5958 @Hans5958]

Thank god that Tung Tung Tung Sahur is attributed as "Italian brainrot" instead of something from Indonesia. At least "Paket Phoenix" is really Indonesian, both the people on the picture and the ISP/company.

(this is about "Indonesian memes that went international")

[Hans5958 @Hans5958]

Speaking of "Indonesian memes that went international", thank god we got Pacu Jalur. Now this is absolutely Indonesian.

[Indonesian Pop Base @iPopBase]

The kid from the ‘Pacu Jalur’ boat race is currently going viral on the internet.

[Hans5958 @Hans5958]

Counterargument: It's more like Channel (@x_cast_x) who has a big influence of this. Yes, IMO, the eye candy visuals carry the heavy load.

DECO*27 is already a pop artist. Channel took it to the next level with the visuals and the Shorts side of things.

I guess this is made to be simpler and intuitive for new users, but damned if I deny that I miss the shortcuts.

[Hans5958 @Hans5958]

I guess I haven't do lamentations about Trakt (@trakt) after a lot of the changes lately, so I'll start now and do it in small steps.

I don't understand why they have to do another website rewrite (dubbed Web V3).

[Hans5958 @Hans5958]

The redesign really changed the flow of the website. I don't really use those advanced stuff, but the holding down action is something that I often use, which is now removed.
