Such a talented, kind and hardworking man. Truly an actor that I have always looked up to and would count myself lucky to have one tenth his talent. My condolences to all who knew him. ๐

Hey voice actors! I am hosting a class on June 18th at 7pm MST.
In this class you will have the chance to dub an actual anime scene using the same method the pros use. If this is your thing then the class info & signup is below.

Me: "And this $1500 TV comes with a remote?"
Salesman: "Sure does! A really bad one. Barely works!"
Me: "Okay are there buttons on the TV?"
Salesman: "Maybe, no one knows."
Hey voice actors new and old I want to meet you. So let's do this! If you comment below, tell me a little about yourself, and follow me, I'll follow you.
Let's go on this crazy journey together! ๐๏ธ ๐ฅ
I whole heartedly agree with this. The question is in what form will theaters exist? Because with the way things are now, something has to change. The communal experience has become, you shell out a lot of money to have a bunch of bright phone screens light up in your face.
Christopher Nolan says movie theaters will be around forever ๐ฟ
"Theaters are part of history, and theyโre part of the future as well"
"When you watch a comedy in a room full of laughing people ... a tragedy where everybodyโs sad at the same time... thatโs very, very important and very unique to cinema"
"The idea of the movie as a communal experience, as a place where we come together to experience a story, Iโm fully confident that thatโs a part of our culture forever"

People crying that the Ronda v Gina fight was fixed are just sad. Gina was submitted. She tapped because the alternative was a broken arm. It's a fight. They don't owe you time, money or blood. If you've trained you know that the most fights are decided in the first few blows.
Art takes focus, commitment and time. There's a reason why artists spend 1000's of hours drawing hands from different angles, or writers spend months doing research, or actors spend hours at the gym literally killing themselves. It's so that they can be good at what they love.
Seth Rogen says if you use AI to write your stories or scripts, then you โshouldnโt be a writerโ:
โEvery time I see a video on Instagram thatโs like, โHollywood is cooked,โ what follows is the most stupid dog sh*t Iโve ever seen in my life. And if your instinct is to use AI and not go through that process. You shouldnโt be a writer. Because youโre not writing.โ

The Final Stand has arrived in Beneath: a fast-paced new horde mode with 3 maps, limited ammo, and a ticking timer.

Harrison Ford: โHumanity is a part of nature, not above it. We need cultural change. We need to extend social justice. We need to respect and elevate the indigenous people that are being marginalized, and in many cases, killed in cold blood. The world youโre stepping into, the world my generation left you, is a real messโ
I am sick of people defending AI by saying that "it's harder than it looks." So?
You know what is waaaaaaay harder? Writing it yourself. Drawing it yourself. Directing it. Acting it. Producing it.
Just admit that it's too hard for you and you're lazy and you suck frankly.

Everyone has something they excel at. For me it's animals, creatures & crazy characters. It's important to lean into this. It is what makes you different and unique.

Maybe I am biased as an actor who mostly works in video games, but I went to theatre school, I have taken countless workshops and classes to hone my craft and I can tell you that the techniques I employ, whether it's for film, theatre or VO are the same. ๐๏ธ
Clair Obscur actor Andy Serkis says he doesn't see a difference between acting in games or movies
"There has always been that snobbery about video games not being anywhere near filmmaking, but that's all changing"
