“One last thing Mr Gov, if you’re waiting for the perfect time to go rescue those children, they’ll keep them there for long and even marry them off to other k!dnapp£rs. We’re ready to enter the bush with you today or tomorrow and we know there’ll be c0llateral damag£ and we’re ready for it. I’ve studied these b@nd!ts for so long I’ve come to realise that if they push and you don’t push back, they’ll see it as a weakness and start asking for levy from oyo state farmers”

Sometimes, identifying ingratitude in people who benefit from your benevolence isn’t enough. You have to cut off the supply. Especially if the incentives is your life. it’s self-respect.
@jon_d_doe Men of their time were genuinely altruistic people with deep love for both immediate and extended family members. My father was the Oxfam of his time cos he helped anything that had life with great humility.
Human rights and security are not enemies; on the contrary, they are necessary partners because a government that respects human rights is a government that earns cooperation.

@jon_d_doee She spoke extremely well, with a simple analogy that even a 12 y/o can understand. Nice men fantasize women to be goddesses and babies who are too pretty to be scolded. They forget that treating women how they ought to be treated simply means treating her like a normal person.
@jon_d_doee No truer words. It was just last week i saw Rita's post and this is the same warning that ESHC AGBA has been hammering to all men in this community and beyond.
If as a man you lose guard for where this apple eating gender dey, you know 'KULI-KULI' na wetin she go use you do

My lovely wife has never used an iPhone.
The most expensive phone she has, I bought it for about N600k.
And she called all her siblings to sing my praises.
And it has been over 2 years.
You bought your 23 y/o girlfriend a phone worth over N1m.
And you're happy.
End.
