FIREWORKS: The Dept. of Natural Resources has asked that people refrain from setting off fireworks this Canada Day; "the forests are still dry and we need several days of steady rain to reduce the fire risk".

Hanwell Park Playground will open today, however please note the signs that will be posted throughout the area. Play/use at your own risk. Please practice safe hygiene habits and bring your own hand sanitizer. The washrooms and Hanwell Place remain closed to the public. Thanks.

The rural community will be opening the Hanwell Community Centre at 2 pm until 9 pm, today, Saturday June 6, 2020, for anyone that may need it due to last evening’s storm and are without power.
