Our Direction Board planting trees to improve habitats at Brent Lodge in hopes of reintroducing the extirpated water vole. They were keen to talk about their incredible work with Cllr @DrAyshaRaza and how they've been taking youth equity and agency to a national level.

Many marmoset and tamarin species enjoy eating tree sap. To simulate natural behaviours, our keepers ensure our silvery marmosets have lots of opportunities to enjoy their favourite gum. 🐵💚🌴

This is part of a huge project that will be monitoring and improving the health of our stretch of the river Brent - with hopes in introducing extirpat (locally extinct) species in the future. Species spotted this week were redwings, blackbirds, foxes, rats, moorhens,song thrushes
