Half an hour ago it was de ja vue with a heavy downpour threatening tonight’s rearranged fixture v Ashford but now the suns out the temp is rising and the pitch ready so see you all later unless I’ve jinxed it again

He was on the wrong end of a beating by Chertsey but he stood tall today and did his best well done lad

Proper day today Chertsey could have won the league today Marlow eventually got their act together Villa boys played well rolled the punches and could and maybe should have got a point
Chertsey will go up if we keep most of our team together we will have a good chance next season

Despite efforts by volunteers we couldn’t get the pitch playable to get the game on but it proves is that at our level it’s not about the money it’s about the love of the game the love of the club well done to all those who helped I’ll stand you all a pint at the next home game

I don’t normally do posts about family or personal things but her in doors gave me this card today we’ve been married 41 years I think it’s been tougher on her mentally than me but looking at the photo she’s worn much better than me still a beautiful as ever X

Recently we had a burger burglar which the cowboys at the ranch wore but yesterday the same burglar took their beer so we will be rounding up a posse and looking to round up these rustlers
