I didn’t take the traditional path.
In undergrad, I designed visuals for Westlife’s world tour.
My school work appeared in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Numéro, Elle, 10 Magazine, Marie Claire etc
I dropped out once in undergrad.
Dropped out again in my master’s program.
I left school to build my own jewelry brand.
Year 1 → exceptional moments:
worn by Lucy Liu, Zhou Xun, Freya Allen (Netflix).
Year 2 → stocked by 60+ global stockists
across Paris, Japan, the UK, and China.
Year 4 → opened a flagship in Taikoo Li Chengdu
one of China’s top malls. And along the way —our work has also been loved by Lady Gaga and BLACKPINK.
After 6 years in fashion,
I’m reinventing myself again —
becoming an AI jewelry founder.
Reinvention is my favorite art form.
Hilary Duff wearing HANYING Jewellery in her latest music video “Roommate” ✨
A true cultural icon and someone many of us grew up watching.
Feeling incredibly grateful 🤍

Several waves of people from Microsoft came by, one after another. Each person said, “Let me bring my manager over.” The people who came had increasingly senior titles. In the end, Microsoft’s CMO came to listen to our presentation!

@finn_meeks I’m learning this more and more lately , you can hire for execution,
but you can’t outsource the definition.
The founder has to see the shape of the problem before anyone else
I’m learning this more and more lately , you can hire for execution,
but you can’t outsource the definition.
The founder has to see the shape of the problem before anyone else.
That layer has to come from the founder.
Founding is an act of invention. The moment a founder stops pursuing the creative edge, they become replaceable.
The Minus One mindset makes you irreplaceable. Here's why.
Just watched the conversation between Sam Altman, Jony Ive & Laurene Powell Jobs.
What they described feels exactly like the world we’re building with @Nirvalabs
• Tech that is calm, not attention-hungry
• A device that knows when to help and when to stay silent
• Something contextual, intuitive, almost emotional
• A form that feels human — simple, joyful, even a little whimsical
• Zero friction, yet it “does so much” for you
This idea of rethinking the device/AI relationship which is away from the Times Square overload,
toward the quiet clarity of a cabin —
is the future.
And it’s rare to hear it articulated so clearly by the people who shaped entire eras of hardware and software.
It feels like a masterclass
— and also, in a way, like an unexpected validation of the direction we’ve already been moving in.
Calm, beautiful, context-aware tech isn’t a niche.
It’s the next chapter.
