The answer is long, but I'll try to be brief. Trump has always been a change agent, a challenger to the status quo. His years in NY real estate shaped him that way. If the skyline didn't look markedly different after he was there, for him, it would have been a failure. He grew up studying the founders and the great industrialists ( Carnegie, Rockefeller, John Adams, Franklin and Jefferson) and his sense of purpose can be traced to them. Not ironically all these were all successful businessmen besides being incredibly civic minded. The Founders gave their "lives and fortunes" to establish this country, while Rockefeller, Carnegie, Morgan and Ford moved the country from oil lamps and horses to trains, cars, electric light and skyscrapers in a single generation....... Change agents all. This is who Trump is at his core. His appreciation for what he's been able to have and do led him to his initial decision to run. Trump was among the first in the democrat party to recognize that globalists and Marxists were taking over the party and if allowed would achieve their goal of eradicating the sovereignty of the US till it stood at the will of a global govt. This galvanized his decision to run for president but until he understood how far this cabal was willing to go to stop him, he wasn't fully formed. He's now been through the crucible of lawfare, cancelation, and humiliation, but that fateful day in Butler Pa. convinced him beyond any doubt that God ( saving his life ) had set his path and endorsed his purpose. It was no longer what he wanted to do, it's what he HAS to do. History is made by such men.
@Zicklefoose@NASCAR This may be the single dumbest thing they've ever done. Nothing else by it self better exemplifies the pathetic state of NASCAR leadership like the "in season tournament".
FDR is the most overrated president in American history and it is not close.
People treat him like a saint. The reality is he inherited a recession and turned it into the longest depression in the history of the developed world. Every other major economy on earth recovered faster than the United States did under FDR. Sit with that. We had the most resources, the most industry, the most capacity, and we recovered slower than countries that got bombed.
Unemployment was still 19% in 1938. Six years into the New Deal. Six years of "bold experimentation" and one in five Americans still could not find work.
Why? Because his policies were economically illiterate. The NIRA cartelized entire industries and made it illegal to lower prices during a deflationary collapse. He paid farmers to slaughter livestock and plow under crops while people stood in bread lines. He launched a war on business so aggressive that investment dried up because nobody knew what insane rule was coming next. Even his own Treasury Secretary, Henry Morgenthau, admitted in 1939 that they had spent enormous sums and "it does not work" and that unemployment was as high as when they started.
Then in 1937 his policies triggered a second brutal crash so embarrassing the textbooks gave it its own polite little nickname, the "Roosevelt Recession," so they would not have to attach his name to the failure in the obvious way.
A UCLA study in 2004 concluded the New Deal prolonged the Great Depression by roughly seven years. Seven years of extra suffering sold to you as heroism.
So what actually saved the economy? Not the alphabet agencies. Not the fireside chats. A world war. Twelve million men shipped overseas and the entire planet's industrial competition reduced to rubble. That is the "recovery." That is the legacy.
Strip away Pearl Harbor and FDR is a guy who took a bad recession and stretched it into a decade of misery with bad economics and a cult of personality. He is not ranked on results. He is ranked on the luck of being in the chair when Hitler invaded Poland.
Greatest marketing job in the history of the presidency. Nothing more.
In China, Muslims are sent to mental health camps for ‘treatment’, while mosques are converted into dance halls that serve alcohol and play music. The Chinese regime treats Islam as a ‘mental illness.’
Is China taking its crackdown on Islam too far?
Historian Bill Federer: "By 2030, there will be a majority Muslim population in Europe, and they will just flat out vote in Sharia law.
People forget Egypt was completely Christian for 6 centuries. It's not anymore. All of North Africa was completely Christian for 6 centuries. It is not anymore.
Constantinople was the largest Christian city in the world, and the largest Christian church in the world for hundreds of years was the Hagia Sophia. And it was turned into a mosque.
They want to do the same thing with the Vatican."
Pay attention to what he’s saying!
@Zicklefoose@Toby_Christie A lot of NASCAR purists would be shocked and saddened to know who's actually responsible for the sport elevating its entertainment side to a priority.
No one in the media has seen the complete text of the MOU. Yet there is widespread criticism about things they say aren't in it. 🤦 Without going through the exhaustive list of Irans military infrastructure that have been reduced to rubble, I'll say that this Iran is not the one that existed 4 months ago. All of its former leadership has been eliminated, and the IRGC is the only group that even resembles its former self. It is that group that is at the center of the criticism of the document in the sense that as long as it exists, Iran will be a theocratic, fundamentalist regime. You will hear different sides give different reasons for their criticism of the MOU but it boils down to the fact that the administration didn't put troops in Iran, eliminate the IRGC, and install a new democratic government. The left wants it to happen so they can use dead soldiers against the President and future Republican nominees. The right because it's the quickest way to allow the Persian people to reshape their future. The Media, because they quite simply want chaos and blood. It's how they make their living. Iran will never be trustworthy, that's why no official "deal" will be written. And no one in this administration expects them to suddenly be a good neighbor country. But the fact that they're willing to take the harder path while exploring every option before committing troops to a ground offensive, tells me all I need to know. Dead soldiers should ALWAYS be the last resort and this admin has every outside voice screaming to send our Sons and Daughters to fight. They instead are being patient, thoughtful and deliberative to exhaust every option before doing so. I would love to see it over with too, but it's not about me, or you or the media or the midterms. Trump is making it about those young men and women who would have to put their lives on the line. As he should. #MOA #IranWar #
Ban Sharia Law in America.
Deny entry to followers of Sharia.
Dissolve organizations that apply Sharia.
Deport anyone that advocates for Sharia.
Sharia has no place in America at all.
Zohran Mamdani’s intern Hadeeqa Arzoo Malik explains that electing him was all part of a Holy War and jihad:
“This is all jihad, this is all ibadah, this is all counted by Allah. How committed am I to this? What am I willing to sacrifice for this noble cause?”
