I have a funny story about this whole cohabitation vs no cohabitation thing 😂
It just reminded me of something that happened back in uni.
We went to a friend’s party, evening into night… pool party kind of vibe. Everything was going smooth, everyone having fun. Then there was this lady… we just clicked instantly. Vibing, dancing, getting a little too comfortable.
By the time it was time to leave, the tension was already there. One thing led to another and she agreed to come spend the night at my place.
Now here’s where it got messy…
At the time, my girlfriend was in another school but used to come stay with me on weekends. This particular time, she had just left after spending almost two weeks.
So me and this new lady got home, trying to slow things down a bit, ordered food before getting into the real groove… then boom kasala
First thing she noticed: my girlfriend’s hair, Then her slippers, Then she opened the wardrobe… full confirmation 😭
That’s when I knew I was finished.
She didn’t even argue much, just said she wanted to go home. I tried everything to convince her to stay, but she wasn’t having it at all. She just left.
And the funny part? Normally, whenever I’m bringing someone over, I make sure the whole house is spotless because my girlfriend used to “set traps” by leaving her things around. I just didn’t know I’d be coming home with someone that night 😂
Till today, me and my guys still laugh about it… because they literally saw us leave the party together 😭
