“मैं जानता हूँ कि पेपर लीक कोई मामूली विषय नहीं है। यह लाखों विद्यार्थियों और उनके अभिभावकों के लिए बेहद पीड़ादायक है। इसलिए पेपर लीक की घटना के बाद पिछले ढाई महीनों में अनेक कदम उठाए गए हैं। गुनहगारों को पकड़ा गया है और वे जेल में हैं।

सरकार ने अपनी पूरी शक्ति लगाकर कम-से-कम समय में 22 लाख विद्यार्थियों की परीक्षाएं संपन्न कराने का प्रबंध किया। पांच-छह दिन पहले, 19 तारीख को परिणाम भी आ गया। देशभर से उत्तीर्ण विद्यार्थियों की खुशियों की खबरें भी आ रही हैं।

लेकिन हम इतने भर से संतोष करने वाले नहीं हैं। मैंने फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट के संबंध में विभागों को निर्देश दिए थे। विभागों ने लगातार मेहनत करके देर रात मुझे इसका मसौदा भी दे दिया है।

फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट और कठोर सजा के प्रावधान वाले इस मसौदे पर कल कैबिनेट में चर्चा होगी। कैबिनेट के साथियों के सुझावों के बाद इसे अंतिम रूप दिया जाएगा।

सोमवार से संसद का दूसरा सप्ताह शुरू हो रहा है। हमारा प्रयास है कि इस बिल को जल्द-से-जल्द सदन से पारित कराया जाए।”
