After it was over I said to them maybe it just starts out a little rough, but it will get better. I never even thought that with SG1 or SGA. I got through it. But it was a struggle

@bthom93 @amazon @AmazonMGMStudio I regularly watch SG-1 and Atlantis (SGU was something I could only ever get through once. But I appreciate what they were trying to do-it just didn't quite hit for me). So I would love more of that lore.

It seems like any show they put out that I like ends up only getting one or two seasons. But if they can bring back Stargate within the existing continuity, I'd give them a chance.

In fact the only time a storyline occurs to him is either after watching AMC or a late night cable airing of 70s disaster films. The man does not plan.

@slowwwaltz Possibly. But IRL, IVF/surrogacy/the foster system all elicit some very strong emotions on both sides. Considering the (lack of)sensitivity with which TM handles topics on the show, there is a chance this storyline won't go as well as he is hoping.

@rizcriz Im officially at the point where ive accepted no matter how long it ends up taking, as long as HE is the writer/showrunner, it won't be done well at all. He's botched so fucking much since he came back to the show, that to accept anything else is just foolish.

@NoxAtThe118 This is just the pattern now. A decent season, derailed in the last few episodes by dead wife doppelganger/murdering Bobby/return of the fuckass sperm donor sl. He always thinks we're going to eat it up, but we never do (except for "buddie" fans that are mostly dadbuck fans)

Im beginning to wonder...how many people that love that Theo's parents were killed off in order to possibly give Buck a storyline that will actually land are also people who spent the break before the last few episodes lamenting the death of Shannon. Because they were incensed.
