Thanks James I will take your not advice and use it as a guide 😄.
I’m a risk taker but also I do research and study to a point I feel I can’t be wrong. But will be ofcourse.
I’ll start building an ETF up a bit on the side. Might use the SIPP for that and let it do its stuff. Cheers bud
@JamesP728@DividendDynasty James can I request your valuable advice please sir?
I keep reading that investing in single stocks is just a huge gamble and the only way to make it is by buying ETF’s sort of stuff.
From experience is this right?
Even if you totally believe in the single stocks
Good morning, Smarters.
Yesterday was another reminder of how quickly sentiment can change in Bitcoin.
When @saylor announced the sale of 3,588 BTC, many people reacted exactly as expected. Panic selling followed, and both Bitcoin and Strategy fell sharply. That weakness did not last long, with buyers quickly stepping in to absorb the selling pressure.
To me, this was about more than one transaction. It showed that Strategy is willing to adapt when circumstances require it. Flexibility matters, especially during more challenging market conditions, and demonstrating that ability could help build confidence with the wider market and the S&P.
Looking ahead, there may come a time when companies such as @smarterwebuk need to make similar decisions. The difference is that we are not trying to prove anything. We have a clear long term strategy and a clear path towards the FTSE 100.
Once the preferred shares are issued, I hope we build a healthy cash reserve ready for the next bear market. If the bull market gathers momentum over the coming months, we could be launching at exactly the right time and be in a strong position to take advantage of the opportunities ahead.
On a personal note, there was another win yesterday. After commenting twice on the post below, I gained 40 new followers. That is 40 more people discovering @smarterwebuk and the story we are all following.
The future looks exciting.
Have a great day, everyone.

Strategy's move today is significant, and I suspect it's a dynamic the market will simply need to get used to, rather than an action to be surprised by.
For the past year, as Smarter Web has grown as a public company, the common narrative has been that @Strategy supports the Bitcoin market. The reality is that @saylor has done more than almost anyone to accelerate Bitcoin's institutional adoption. The capital markets innovation Strategy has created, through Digital Credit and other structures, has been remarkable.
At the same time, one of Bitcoin's greatest strengths is that it's bigger than any one individual, company or country. As the market increasingly recognises that, Bitcoin itself becomes stronger and more resilient.
For treasury companies, responsible capital allocation means making decisions that strengthen the balance sheet and grow Bitcoin per share over the long term. That can mean buying aggressively when appropriate. It can also mean using capital flexibly when that creates greater long-term value for shareholders.
The objective never changes: build a stronger company, and compound Bitcoin per share, over time.

@horror_ie@Betsycashmoney Best crosser. Best passer. Best free kicker. Worked non stop. Won the league everywhere he played. Apart from Leyton Orient. The Man Utd team was special. Every player was the best in their role at those times.
