Nicky Campbell: Chris Philp(Tory MP) has said: "this is further evidence that the government's lack of border control is endangering the public." The problem for Chris is the Belfast attacker came in 2023, when he was in government.
And again. Deflection. Diversion. Obfuscation. This isn't hard. Where is Nigel Farage's condemnation of the violence last night. He's felt able to tweet about fly-tipping this morning. Where is his tweet about innocent women and children being burnt out of their homes.
Have I got this right?
Jenrick and Braverman flooded the UK with migrants.
Their ship was sinking fast so they jumped over to reform.
Now people are voting for reform and don't care that Jenrick and Braverman are on board there? ?? ๐

@EssexPR Yep how on earth did that happen ? Might want to ask @Nigel_Farage Anyone who voted Brexit or conservative in the last 10 years has no right to preach about immigration
Why are Reform supporters trying to suppress debate about the role their MPs - Suella Braverman and Robert Jenrick - had in allowing the Belfast attacker to remain in the UK. Why are they trying to suppress debate about Nigel Farage's failure to condemn last night's violence.
At PMQs today, Richard Tice raised two-tier policing, the boats, and called on Keir Starmer to resign.
Starmer's response went directly to Tice's finances.
"He still hasn't properly addressed why his companies didn't just aggressively avoid tax, but failed to pay the tax that they legally owe. His investment company then gave huge donations to Reform."
The Electoral Commission holds the records on those donations and loan arrangements. I filed FOI 046-26 on 22 April requesting documentation on loan record AL0499992 - Tisun Investments Limited to Reform UK Party Limited.
The statutory 20 working day deadline passed on or around 20 May. On 26 May the Commission confirmed it was still finalising its response. It is now 10 June. No substantive response has been received.
Yesterday I filed a formal chaser on WhatDoTheyKnow, citing Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, and gave the Commission five working days before referring the matter to the Information Commissioner's Office.
The Prime Minister raised this at the despatch box today. The regulator responsible for political finance transparency is seven weeks overdue on the paperwork.
Richard Tice's smirk at the end of this answer says it all.
Not even he believes his excuse for @Nigel_Farage not giving a press conference in the last 50 days.
We all know there are (ยฃ)5 million reasons why he hasn't...
