Both have such a crying need for wide adoption across the country. We see so many stats of no of bank & brokerage accounts. But no one talks about how few have done the right thing to preserve their wealth and their right to live & die with dignity.
When you start your career, work hard and take risks. Slog it out. Don’t wait for Lady Luck to shine. And then in late 40s / early 50s take a good long break.
Time to enjoy life is when you are young and youthful. Go back to work after 55 if need be!
47 year old. Family of four. Guy has just come out of a layoff scare- got a role at the last minute. Has 2 cars&1 bike. Net worth 30 lakhs. Reconstructing house via 60 lakhs loan. AND wants to replace bike with some 13 lakh Suzuki by selling MF. I give up on such folks.
Met someone yesterday. Earns close to a crore per annum. Husband, Wife and a school going kid. Doesn’t have significant savings because thinks they are living middle class life. No extravaganzas. Living in total self denial.
