BINI STACEY APPRECIATION POST

One of the first things that always catches my attention when I watch BINI perform is Stacey's smile. Yung sobrang laki ng smile niya na halos mawala na yung chinita eyes niya. There's just something about it that makes you smile back. She has this natural brightness and confidence that can immediately command a crowd, which is why I think she's such a perfect “can opener” for BINI's songs. The moment she appears, you look.

And I love how much she has grown into that confidence. Because Stacey wasn't always comfortable with her own voice. During SHA, she had this low tone that she didn't really feel comfortable with at first, their Korean coach even said it sounds "broken." And now, that same low timbre is one of the things that gives BINI's vocals depth. Her voice fills the lower parts of their harmonies, while she can also go up and sharpen the higher harmonies. She can rap, sing, dance, and even hit those whistle notes. And somehow, even when she's rapping insanely fast in that low tone, it still sounds unmistakably STACEY - kikay, feminine, and full of attitude.

And then you watch her dance and realize, ay oo nga pala, she can MOVE. Strong, powerful, smooth, sexy, flexible, with insane body control. She has so many sides as a performer, but somehow she always makes them feel like her.

Pero honestly, one of Stacey's biggest strengths for me is her humor. Topnotch. 😭 She is naturally funny without trying too hard. Yung timing niya, pang-aasar, pagiging prankster, at yung hilig mang-rage bait sa girls for fun. She can turn the most ordinary moment into something hilarious. She's one of those people who can make an entire room lighter just by being herself.

And that's what I love about Stacey: the contrast. People see the loud, makulit, prankster Stacey, but underneath all that is this very soft, introverted homebody who loves being with her mom and family and has such a soft spot for animals. She's also the pink princess the girls love to baby.

That's why she fits so naturally into BINI. She has a different kind of bond with every girl. She can match Aiah's kikay energy, be clingy with Maloi and make her laugh, constantly bicker with Jhoanna, be Gwen's spokesperson, quietly understand Mikha, cause chaos with Sheena, and be one of Colet's biggest cheerleaders. Somehow, Stacey is everyone's person in a different way.

I think that's what makes her so important to BINI. She's not just a rapper. Not just a dancer. Not just a vocalist. Not just the pink princess. She's part of the sound, the humor, the energy, the laughter, and the bond of the group.

And honestly, I don't think Stacey needs to be the “strongest” at everything to deserve her place. She has earned it by continuously growing, working on herself, and learning to embrace the very things she once felt insecure about.

Stacey is a STAR in every sense of the word. And maybe that's why her fandom is called Stars, because when she smiles, she really does feel like one. ⭐️⭐️

A bright, warm, unapologetically pink little star who makes BINI, and the people watching them, a little brighter. 🩷🩷🩷
