Hi all \o/
I like 50s,60s,70s,and 80s music. Classic TV programmes and films.
I collect Minions. I bake and make cards.
I like talking , and drinking coffee.
2 October 2017. Tom Petty died (aged 66). His group Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers sold over 80 million records. He was also a member of the supergroup Travelling Wilburys. He won 3 Grammy awards. He died of an “accidental overdose” of a combination of prescription drugs.
Lou Ferrigno, the actor in the CBS television series 'The Incredible Hulk' met American Pope Leo XIV at the end of the weekly general audience in St Peter square on Wednesday morning at the Vatican.
The Pope briefly chatted with Ferrigno, who comes from a Catholic family of Italian origins.
Harrison Ford does not look like a man who asked for a public love confession. Graham Norton gave him two anyway.
He picks Anna first, makes her stand, waits for the music, and tells her to look Ford in the eyes. She says “I love you.” Ford lifts one finger. Not a wave. A count. That is the whole joke and the whole person: a movie star who has heard this for forty years and still treats it like inventory.
Then Graham finds Yoker from Belgium. She did not wander in. She came for this. Same setup, same music, same three words. Ford’s face does the thing it always does when affection arrives without a script. Slightly startled. Slightly grateful. Completely unwilling to perform gratitude back.
Talk shows usually sand this down into “aw, he is so beloved.” The clip is funnier because nobody sanded it. A woman crossed a country to say a sentence Ford cannot comfortably return, and he answered with a raised finger like the scoreboard just moved. That is stardom with the charm scraped off and the humanity left on.
