A video is resurfacing where a minor, Tae, was forced by adults—BigHit producers—to kiss J-Hope as a “punishment” for losing a game. He was underage. This was not a lighthearted moment (no matter who was laughing). It wasn’t funny then, and it is certainly not funny now.

The fact that people are laughing, romanticizing, making lewd comments or excusing it is deeply disturbing. This was a clear breach of boundaries and consent involving a minor—something that should never have happened, and never be dismissed as “harmless fun.”

Protecting idols includes acknowledging when they were failed. Tae deserved better. They all did.
