CHRIS HAYES: The Times reported that they saw texts of Lyndsey Fifield, including a text in August. This would be before October of last year, in which she basically said that you had a "Nazi tattoo," and she joked about how she was going to go volunteer for Collins. Now, again, this is a text that got sent so we can place the time. Right? This is in August. How does she know it’s a Nazi tattoo in August of last year and you don’t know it’s Nazi tattoo in August of last year?
GRAHAM PLATNER: Well, she certainly didn’t send that text to me. So whoever she sent it to and was talking to, that’s I can’t say why, but I will say that I certainly didn’t know.
Not a unique thought here but it is truly shocking what Trump has done to both parties in a decade. What they are willing to accept in order to win has devolved into something truly unrecognizable
After I questioned Secretary Rubio on Code Pink and their ties to the CCP, their organization followed me out, berated me, and then their head person here in DC smacked me.
I will be filing charges.
@sepinwall Man I loved reading those recaps back in the day...I was so excited Monday mornings to read about the Sunday night HBO offering and the Lost reviews were just the best. It made my enjoyment of those shows even greater.
With Colbert and now Pelley...it is pretty telling that there is a problem needing to be fixed when only one side is arguing that their dismissals are a bad thing.
The damage that traditional media has done over the last 20 years will not be impacted until Boomer generation is gone. But when that happens...it is over. The trust with these folks has been eroded so much and their obvious partisanship is so overt...there is no coming back.
The more transparency we get from the media today...the more I question how we ever trusted these folks in the first place.
We really have been lied to and manipulated for generations...maybe we were naive, maybe I was but for me the stain on all journalists may never go away.
Hear me out…there are A LOT of bad people currently in Congress. I’m not in favor of putting more of them into seats when we know ahead of time they are low character individuals.
@RiotFest Festivals are meant to allow fans to see bands for the first time among their favorites.
If you only want to hear what you like…go see the bands as headliners instead of a festival. Complaining is missing the point.
