@vimjoyer 404 yet

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@haruuuuu_1256 try ventoy, it is objectively better for multiple ISOs

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@tcballard @GeoffreyHuntley @bot Why? Omarchy will be rewritten to nixos, it is just a matter of time

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@jessyka_boat @guilafontaine @zero_luxx NixOS is more stable and has more fresh packages

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@jessyka_boat @guilafontaine @zero_luxx DHH is planning to move away from arch to nixos, btw

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@Burkino_1 @ProgrammerDude nix? recommends? wdym?

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@Burkino_1 @ProgrammerDude did you even tried it? most of the time you just add several packages lines or chabge config params. you don't really interact with language much after first setup

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@klntsky goes better with claude

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@canonicalmodel @burkelibbey it feels like a problem with flakes implementstion but not with flakes as a concept, so we should add them and fix this issue as well

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@haydendevs use devenv or ask claude to package what you need

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@canonicalmodel @burkelibbey "copy everything" you mean copy of all dot files?

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@burkelibbey would be nice to have community-wide non-anonymous vote on such things

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@tobi @burkelibbey funny way to discover this, yeah

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@burkelibbey i think we need somehow to push nixos comitee to make this a default thing, 70% of users already use it

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@burkelibbey Kinda funny suggesting it to you, ahahaha. One of best tools in nix ecosystem, thanks for your contribution.

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@xikhar @thsottiaux try nixos + claude

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@brainage19 omarchy just dumps stuff from disc almost instantly, nixos downloads custom uo to date packages. not sure this is comparable, yet installing os in 15 sec is still remarkable

[Peka Yoba @Hard_kun]

@markpash i have a friend who did nixos-infect with M1 air and still using it like that
