Released German journalist Eva Maria Michelmann:
“Syria is not safe. Please do not believe that the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) government is democratic in any way. The practices of this regime are inhumane. I was subjected to torture during my detention.”
Eva Maria Michelmann, a volunteer reporter with the ETHA organization, who was detained by the current Syrian authorities for several months before being released on June 19, 2026, shared her testimony in a video message presented at a press conference in Germany, where she thanked everyone who contributed to supporting her.
Michelmann warned the European public, saying: “Please do not believe that the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) government is democratic in any way,” emphasizing that “the practices of this regime are inhumane.”
She also described the torture she said she endured during her detention and called for the immediate release of Turkish journalist Ahmed Bulad.
Michelmann further spoke about what she described as inhumane conditions in women’s prisons, stating that most of the female detainees were Alawites and that some women were being held with children who had not yet learned to walk. She said that torture and electric shocks were routinely used in women’s prisons and that many women were confined in windowless cells with no beds or bedding, containing only white ceramic floors.

How stupid do you have to be to think the Israel–Turkey war of words is anything but theatre for domestic consumption?
Trade data is public.
Without oil transiting via Turkey’s Ceyhan corridor, Israel’s war on Gaza would have slammed into fuel constraints within weeks!

An Unexplained Death in Exile by @irfanaktans
Murat Çiçek, a 47-year-old Kurdish political exile and actor living in Japan, was detained near Tokyo on June 25 and died under suspicious circumstances on July 2. On July 8, the Embassy of Turkey in Japan informed his sister of his death.
@sonofmithra Turkey and Israel have barely moved an inch away from each other in three decades. Until we see durable changes in the underlying architecture, this is another episode of crisis‑for‑domestic‑audiences layered on top of a stable strategic interdependence.
PJAK: Agreement between the Kurdish parties is important, but it is not enough. We, as PJAK are ready to form a joint Kurdish army and unified command, and we will not leave any attack by the occupiers unanswered.
-The Kurdish people should no longer be a plaything in the hands of foreign powers. Decisions on war and peace must be made solely on the basis of our own national interests
-PJAK has sent a message to those who are acting as spies, saying: “Those jash (Traitors) and spies who had a hand in the blood of the guerrillas and the 6 Peshmerga fighters- come to your senses. Treason will not go unpunished in history.”

Hengaw previously reported that Sam was shot in the head, while his father, Ahsan Ahsani, sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh.
Security forces have detained at least five Kurdish citizens in Paveh, Sardasht and Mahabad over the past few days, transferring them to detention facilities run by the Ministry of Intelligence and the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

It’s SHAME for USA to REMOVE HTS and Mohammad Al Qaeda Al Shaara from US TERRORISM LISTING
And STILL keeping Kurdish Political Parties in US Terrorism Listing?
What Kurds did against USA ?
But Turkey did everything against USA, including Turkish Military/Soldiers dressing USA MILITARY UNIFORMS during their attacks on Kurdish fighters
Not only that But also dressed up as PKK fighters committed crimes and dressed up as Peshmerga fighters to commit crimes.
All documented, but USA still doesn’t want to remove Kurds from Terrorism listing but can willingly and knowingly remove Al Qaeda/HTS and Ahmad Al Bin Ladin Al Shaara from terrorism lists which had $10 million bounty on his head.
TIME FOR JUSTICE FOR THE KURDS
REMOVE KURDISH POLITICAL PARTIES FROM NATO MEMBERS TERRORISM LISTINGS
