other fun facts:
-if your first 2 rocks in phase 1 are not black, you can't get 2 anymore
-if one of the first 3 rocks in phase 2 is black you're good
-gold rocks have an 8% chance of spawning if the rock is supposed to be white. they don't overwrite black rocks

Hey I've done some SMG1 research and I was able to find out that bouldergeist operates on 10 rock patterns. However the pattern you get is still rng and all the manips are COPE.
Most important findings:
good rng phase 1: 51%
good rng phase 2: 91%
total: 46.41%
perfect rng: 0.04%
