A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck off the coast of Calabria in southern Italy during the early hours of June 2. According to Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the quake’s epicenter was located in the Tyrrhenian Sea near Belmonte Calabro in the province of Cosenza at a depth of approximately 250 kilometers. The tremor was felt across much of southern Italy, including parts of Calabria, Campania, Basilicata, Puglia, Sicily, and the Naples area. Despite its strength, officials reported no injuries or significant damage as of the latest updates. Authorities say the earthquake’s unusually deep depth helped reduce its impact at the surface. Civil Protection officials and firefighters carried out inspections in the affected areas and reported no major issues. (euronews)

Frankie Valli has canceled all remaining 2026 dates of his farewell tour, The Last Encores, to focus on his health.

The 92 year old Four Seasons legend shared the news with fans on social media, saying he has decided to take the rest of the year off from touring and is looking forward to getting healthy.

The Last Encores tour began in 2023 and was scheduled to continue through 2026. According to multiple reports, the remaining scheduled performances have now been canceled rather than postponed.

Valli did not disclose a specific medical condition, but he left the door open for a possible return to performing in the future.

According to CBS Sports, the veteran Italian manager is expected to sign a two year deal with Napoli as the club prepares for the departure of Antonio Conte.

Allegri returned to AC Milan ahead of the 2025/26 season, but was let go following the club’s failure to secure Champions League qualification. He previously coached Milan from 2010 to 2014 and also enjoyed a highly successful run with Juventus, winning five straight Serie A titles.
