That said, if we only got one - the Retro version would be my choice.

My first Blokees toy. Count Von Count from Sesame Street. This was a fun little figure to put together. The build quality is much better than I expected.

@HootyHaHa Mattel was also doing DC Universe figures at the time. This was a great crossover to sell figures to fans. Plus, the original crossover comic with Superman.
These days, we get brand mash-ups (TMNT+G.I. Joe, MOTU+Transformers & ThunderCats), but these two-packs were still fun.
@EpicFilmGuys I have the date burned into my soul because that year, I had the "June 23" teaser poster in my room months before release. I converted a lot of fans to Batman comics before the film launched. It was an awesome time.
