Open source AI needs freedom and accountability.
Sentient’s OML (Open Model License) is a clever framework that blends licensing, cryptography, and model fingerprinting letting creators share their models safely while proving they built them.
(1) How It Works :- Fingerprints That Live in the Weights
OML embeds unique digital “signatures” right into the model’s parameters during training.
They’re invisible to performance subtle, mathematical marks that survive compression, pruning,or fine tuning.
(2) Generating the Mark
Each fingerprint is derived from a creator’s private hash or key.
The injection process happens at strategic network layers (like middle or attention blocks), so even if parts of the model are altered, the ID remains intact.
(3) Verification Process
When someone wants to verify ownership, OML runs a detection script.
It checks for the signature using statistical similarity tests — confirming the match to the original key with up to ~99% reliability, even after heavy model edits.
(4) Tough Against Tampering
Model thieves can try to strip fingerprints, but OML is layered to resist it.
The marks are distributed redundantly, making removal nearly impossible without breaking the model itself.
Forgery is also blocked — you need the private key to mint an authentic mark.
(5) Licensing Meets Crypto
OML doesn’t stop at watermarking it connects to Sentient’s smart contract layer.
When a model is used under OML, transactions (like inference fees or royalties) are enforced via $SENT, with on-chain verification keeping everything transparent.
(6) Part of the Sentient Stack
In the bigger ecosystem, OML integrates with Sentient GRID for distribution.
Every fingerprinted model can trace its use, ensuring models evolve openly while preserving their origin and alignment.
(7) Open-source AI shouldn’t mean open theft.
OML makes it possible for the community to share freely, prove ownership, and build responsibly.

@mansipraks Hey! I know you're probably getting flooded, but I was wondering if you had a spare Base app invite you could share? I'd really appreciate it. No worries if not!

⚠️How I Lost $10,000+ in Crypto: A Story of
Hacks and #Scams 😔
Hello everyone,
I want to share my story of losing over $10,000 in crypto. It was a painful lesson, but I hope by sharing it, I can prevent someone else from going through the same thing.
The First Loss: A Sophisticated P2P Scam
This happened during the sui airdrop. I received my allocation on Bybit and wanted to sell it via P2P. A friend recommended a well-known OTC escrow group.
How it worked: Users post buy/sell messages in the group. You then contact an admin who acts as the middleman to securely complete the trade.
>The Setup : I posted that I wanted to sell my USDT. A group member reached out with an offer. He told me to contact an admin, but the main admin was busy.
>The Trick: The scammer said he had connected with a "second admin." He then created a new group, adding me and a fake account he had made that looked identical to the real admin's account. In the heat of the moment, I didn't notice the slight difference in the username.
>The Loss: I sent the USDT to the address provided by the impersonator. Immediately after, the scammer and all his accounts blocked me. Just like that, my money was gone.
The Second Loss: The Devastating System Hack
I thought I had learned my lesson, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the end.
Earlier this year in May, I woke up and saw multiple transaction alerts from my Telegram bot.
I quickly checked my wallet and saw that all of my assets were gone. The hack happened in the middle of the night.
It wasn't just one wallet. My EVM, Solana, SUI, and Keplr wallets were all completely drained. I didn't know what to do; my brain just froze. My whole body was shaking.
The Aftermath: The psychological impact was severe. I couldn't work properly, and I couldn't focus on my studies. It took me a full month to recover my mental health.
The Lost Opportunities: To make it worse, I lost interest in crypto and missed out on several upcoming airdrops that those compromised wallets were eligible for.
My Recovery and a Crucial Lesson
Eventually, I forced myself to get back to work. I started creating content again, grinding for eligibility in projects like KAITO, and earned roles in Discord communities.
My biggest takeaway is this: In this world, there are two sides -good and bad. You need to protect yourself and your assets.
During my research on how to never let this happen again, I started looking into more secure wallet options. That's when I found projects like @vultisig . What caught my attention is its approach to security -especially after hearing (and experiencing) how often people lose funds due to hacks or compromised seed phrases.
Here’s what stood out to me about Vultisig:
>🔒 Seedless Wallet: No traditional seed phrases to store or lose.
>🔒 Multisig & Multichain: Even if one device is compromised, your funds remain secure because multiple approvals are required.
>🔒 DeFi Integration: The wallet allows swapping, staking, and even using a payment card directly.
Many people are following $VULT for the token or the @KaitoAI campaign, but for me, the security features are what make it interesting. If you’ve ever been scammed or worried about wallet safety, you’ll understand why solutions like this are worth exploring.
Stay safe, everyone.
gMonad
My solana @Backpack wallet is eligible for the @monad airdrop.
I only did these activities:
- used backpack swap feature
- supplied AND borrowed on @project0
- funded wallet using bridge
If you're a backpack user, check your wallet!
There's a high chance you might be eligible too if you interacted with @project0 and backpack wallet.
