@D1stRU3T0R@SawyerMerritt@Tesla Yeah they promised Full Self Driving to the people who bought that functionality. You did NOT. Therefore you wont get it. As simple as that.
@D1stRU3T0R@SawyerMerritt@Tesla yeah because you need hw3. and tesla doesnt owe you anything in terms of FSD functionality on your car so its on you to pay for the hardware upgrade
@D1stRU3T0R@SawyerMerritt@Tesla Ofc you could have bought FSD in Europe with HW2.5. I own a 17 MS 90D and bought the upgrade from EAP to FSD a year ago. Then you get a free hw3 retrofit.
Because you own only EAP you dont and have to first pay the 1000โฌ for HW3, then you can subscribe.
@D1stRU3T0R@SawyerMerritt@Tesla You expected tesla to cover the costs? Why should they? And what do they get in return? Makes no sense. You didnt buy fsd outright, they dont owe you anything. As simple as that.
@D1stRU3T0R@SawyerMerritt@Tesla You cant. You can pay the ~1000usd for the hw3 upgrade and then subscribe to fsd once its released. altough with the missing interior camera it is unknown if legacy S/X will ever get fsd without a retrofit.
@israelpavlovic@wholemars Yeah thats corrrect.
I dont think its risky but everyone can have their own opinion about that. You just asked how its done and i explained it
@czarekjachowski@mikegapinski No need to buy grapinskis solution for 500โฌ when an identical one was released open source for free.

@RealRusty@RonnyGolisch Es ist der identische weg. Der will weiter Geld machen, aber er macht auch nix anderes als die Open source Firmware. N Raspi ist รผbrigens besser als n esp32 fรผr diesen Zweck
