If anyone else out there has noticed that Royal Mail Click and Drop stopped transfering their orders from eBay at around 6am, https://t.co/JAtVYmnrc8 has this update:
Re-opening was slightly delayed because of medical complications, but we're now back at the office, and both our eBay store and website are fully active again. Orders away!
Last day warning! We will be closing for Christmas at noon tomorrow, Thursday 21/12/23, so get your orders in before then. We will start taking orders again towards the end of next week, and will dispatch them when we fully reopen on Tuesady, 02/01/24. Until then, Merry Christmas
Follow-up to the last tweet: we haven't been able to dispatch anything today either, because apparently, the Royal Mail has randomly, with no prompting, decided to cancel all collections at our address. I don't know when they'll be reinstated.
I haven't tweeted in *quite a while* to put it bluntly, just because I had reservations about continuing to do so on Elon's Twitter (yes, I still call it that).
Had to be said, though - we weren't able to post anything yesterday, as Click and Drop went down. Just a heads up.
We've temporarily put all instances of our Florentine Bronze 6mm inserts on eBay out of stock. The photos for them show an old version of the item - the stock levels will be reinstated when they're updated to show the items actually being sold.
🚨 NEW LISTING ALERT 🚨
We now have these small, plastic modesty blocks - basically, small, unobtrusive angle brackets. You put one in a corner between two pieces of furniture, and screw them in. Nice and simple.
Available in 6 colours (so far)

Just so you know, we've all got Covid. We got back from our holiday on Saturday morning, and symptoms appeared on Sunday. We have reopened as per the message on our website home page, but we've been taking it slow.
I'm not quite sure yet what use it will be, but I'm interested in making CAD versions of our items, as a step up from photos alone to give you an idea of what they're like. I've already done our small hinged caps, using Sketchup:
Anyway, it's been a long time coming, but I am finally working on listing our latest item - these fully nickel-plated 3mm dia. plug-in shelf supports. A variation on our 3mm Galv for Glass studs, designed for wooden shelves instead.
Hello, hope you've all had a great 2023 so far. I just wanted to address our protracted absence from this platform since New Year's. There was no particular reason for it, but like texting, it became harder for me to think about posting the longer I put it off.
And for reference, I'm classifying "item not arrived' message as any message within a chain of correspondence with a customer relating to a late item up to the point of delivery. It's not counting messages saying "my items have arrived"
On one last note:
I spent a few hours counting every 'item not arrived' message we've gotten since November 2021, to see how bad the December spike was in the grand scheme of things. Still quite bad, as it turns out.
Well, that's a wrap for 2022!
Congratulations to Mark Wall for being our very last customer of the year 🎉
You don't get anything for it, just this tweet. Merry Christmas! Hope to see everyone in the New Year
Hope everyone's having a merry Christmas 🎄
Just a friendly, timely Christmas posting warning: Wednesday 21/12/22 is our last posting date of this year. We'll be closing up for holidays on Thursday. We will stop taking orders around noon tomorrow.
The Royal Mail has also confirmed the 23/12 and 24/12 strikes are going ahead, so if anything hasn't arrived by Thursday 22/12/22, it isn't going to before Christmas
Strike reminder: this Wednesday and Thursday are strike days, so as usual, we won't be able to dispatch anything on those days. If you order after roughly noon on Tuesday, your order will be dispatched on Friday.
