🇮🇹🗣️ Pierluigi Collina: "I remember when I was asked to referee the 2002 World Cup final between Brazil and Germany. I had to ask for VHS tapes of both teams. I LOCKED myself in my room for a day and a half, taking notes and watching every minute of every match."
"Because the goal of a referee is to be one step ahead, to know what is going to happen before it happens."
"At the time, it was pretty unusual to prepare like that... but I'm proud of the fact that today this is normal prep for a referee."

Riyad Mahrez on the day the usually quiet N’Golo Kanté finally snapped at him at Leicester:
“N’Golo played on the right side of midfield and I was also on the right.
“I cheated a little because I didn’t defend.
“He was so shy that he never said anything, but one day he snapped and said to me:
‘Hey Riyad, please, start defending.’
“It shocked me. It was funny.
“And after that, I started defending.”
Today August 3rd in History of Nigeria:
August 3 1966: The Day Awolowo Walked Free and Lagos Stood Still:
Thread 1
I'm reading this to you because today in history, August 3rd 1966, Chief Obafemi Awolowo stepped into Lagos a free man.
Look at this Daily Times front page. Arms raised, agbada flowing, the headline screams AWOLOWO IS FREE.
He had just come out of Calabar Prison after serving almost four years of a 10 year sentence. The 1963 treasonable felony case was one many Nigerians at the time called political.
This is Bacalar, a hidden paradise located in southern Quintana Roo, Mexico. It looks exactly like the Maldives, but it's actually a massive fresh-water lagoon surrounded by lush jungle.
It's called the Lagoon of Seven Colors because the water shifts into seven different shades of turquoise and blue. One of the coolest things to do here is visit Los Rápidos, where you can hop in the crystal-clear water and let the natural lazy river float you down the channel.
You also have to rent a sailboat to check out the Cenote Azul and the Pirate’s Channel, where the water is so shallow it feels like a giant swimming pool. It’s way quieter and cheaper than Tulum or Cancún. Save this video for your Mexico travel bucket list!

2Pac’s final interview; recorded just 2 weeks before his death.🕊️
Looking back, every word hits differently. The legend’s voice, thoughts and presence… frozen in time.
So I just found out that there is a “Drum Wash” function on the washing machine that automatically cleans it up for you.
You let it run for about 1hr and it clears all the wheels etc.
Erling Haaland was not about to let Omar Marmoush just leave 😂🩵:
🗣 Haaland: "What's going on? What are you doing? Get your training gear on; we're training soon"
🗣 Marmoush: "I'm going, man. I've got to train somewhere else"
🗣 Haaland: "All the best, Mozza. Are you going now?"
🗣 Marmoush: "Yeah, I'm flying out at three"
🗣 Haaland: "You better not ghost me on Snapchat!"
Wande Coal interview, Wande Coal how much did you purchase your escalade I recently saw your new car Wande Coal, responded: my Escalade was a gift from Wizkid, and Olamide in exchange for calling out Davido. Wizkid reached out to me and told me he wanna see me at his house. When I arrived, Olamide was there as well. During our conversation, they proposed that they would gift me a car if I dr@g OBO after his interview if I cr!ticized Davido I told them . To be honest, I was not comf@rtabl£ with that proposal. Even with the offer of a car, I felt pr£ssur£d and une@sy about it because wizkid is also a Friend to me Initially, I declined. I told them I could not do it. I also reminded them that Davido has always shown me love from the very beginning, and I see no reason for calling him out I expressed my reservations to Wizkid. and Olamide directly. They insist£d. They told me it was a brand new car, and that they would also add 50 million naira in cash.
That is how I came to receive the Escalade. I did not purchase with hard-earned money.
🚨 SIR ALEX FERGUSON ON CHELSEA’S TRANSFER BUSINESS 😳
“Chelsea are turning football into a joke. They buy players for £120m, develop them, then suddenly sell them for £145m or £150m. At some point, the Premier League and FA have to look into this.
You cannot keep making extraordinary profits from player sales and expect everyone else to simply accept it. If Chelsea continue like this, the league needs to ask serious questions.
These kinds of transfers should NOT be allowed to continue unchecked. Chelsea are playing a completely different financial game from everyone else.”
