Well, it’s been a long hard road and it’s taken every ounce of my strength and determination, but I’m finally done
I’ve gone from student nurse to senior sister in ICU, to medical student to Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist (with just a little help from my amazing husband!)

@MajorTraumaSN I started my nurse training in 1989. I was a senior nurse & ECMO specialist in ICU which I continued throughout medical school. I gave up my nursing job 3 days before starting FY1. My medical training (medical school + anaesthetic training) has taken 13 years....and breathe!
