Baltimore Hackerspace, formerly Harford Hackerspace is a non-profit 501(C)(3) hackerspace/makerspace in Baltimore, MD
we Teach Learn Hack and Make cool stuff
Two weeks ago, Dan joined the hackerspace.
Last week, Dan took the shopbot training.
This week, Dan started a custom kitchen playset.
Be like Dan! Come out any Wednesday evening, tour the shop, and that unfeasible project suddenly seem much more feasy.
Huge thankyou to @_offbeast for this donation! While we typically use it to inspect circuits, sometimes (pretty often tbh) curiosity gets the better of us.
We've been putting a lot of work in on the @ShopBotTools this week - including these Arrow of Light plaques for Cub Scout Pack 432's upcoming graduations. Congratulations Scouts!
We have a another blog-post covering how one of our members used our Shopbot to build some live-edge furniture:

And if you want 24/7 access to tools including this, this is the last week to lock in the $35/month option! https://t.co/gnEkryldwu
Member project: Projector mount!
This tour-de-force is all hand-milled from aluminum stock on our Bridgeport mill and Sharp lathe. More details on our Discord: https://t.co/eF8WjpjRzq
Member Project: Baiju serving case!
CNC'd Walnut and Pine with brass shaving inlay.
Want to learn to make projects like this? Swing by Open Hack any Wednesday evening, including tonight!
Member project: Cabinet! The curve wasn't too bad (plywood was milled down to 0.08" and saturated with hot water), and the edgebanding was a ridiculously easy.
Member Project: "The @hcpss_wlhs marching band wanted a 40's style jukebox that was 10 feet tall, so... off to the CNC router! Add some creative paint from the kids, and we got this done in 3 weeks, thanks to the space!"
