The problem: Builders entering web3 seek high-impact roles, but they're restricted to either pre-determined bounty work for DAOs or full-time positions at centralized companies, both of which fail to offer the desired level of freedom & opportunity.

11/ What we’re doing with @XLR8universe is just one example of how this can be done, but it’s by no means the only way.

The most important thing is that projects start to experiment with new mint mechanisms that better reflect the desired ethos of their community.

1/ 99% of mints are solely geared towards maximizing profit.

The focus needs to shift towards distributing the collection to holders who are aligned with the community ethos, not just those who have the biggest bag.

As evidence to that point, they just changed one of their application questions from “how would you describe your long-term business model” to “how does value accrue to your community.” Interesting to see an accelerator prioritizing community over monetization.
