What Jordan Chiles and Ana Barbosu have both had to endure completely tarnishes both of their Olympic experiences. And for what? Neither cheated. Both exhibited the highest levels of sportsmanship. They competed with dignity and honor and the people in charge failed to follow through on their end, and with ZERO accountability after the fact. We have yet to see a statement of accountability of any kind from the FIG (@gymnastics) or @iocmedia. Instead that burden has been passed on to the athletes — the ones who actually did their jobs — resulting in irreparable trauma.

Feels kind of silly to have to say this but damage to property is not violent. Shooting college students in the face with rubber bullets is extremely violent however. Hope that helps
