I took this advice.

I rented a decent self contain at a developing area in 2025.

600K. Very affordable.

4 months into living there, EFCC broke down every door in the compound at 2am in the morning.

They turned my house upside down and searched my devices, when they didn't see what they're looking for, they left.

Exactly a month after that incident, armed thieves broke into the compound at exactly 1am and robbed everyone, made away with a neighbor's car.

2 months after that, EFCC broke into the compound again.

This time, even when they searched devices there and didn't see anything, they took everyone to their station.

That's the must traumatic event of my life.

I slept in their hell of a cell from 2am to 9am.

I hired a lawyer to bail myself out even when nothing incriminating was found on my devices.

See eh, when people make certain decisions about where to live, sometimes it's more than Lifestyle influencing it.

They want security.

They want stable electricity, which is crucial to their work.

They want many other things that have nothing to do with living above your means.
